The design of Lodestar Ranch is inspired by the architectural genius of I.M. Pei and Frank Lloyd Wright.
As you drive up the winding, gated driveway you are transported into a realm where architectural brilliance seamlessly melds with the natural splendor of the surroundings. The estate's sense of harmony and sophistication is as timeless as it is captivating.

All the proportions and details of Lodestar Ranch were chosen to imbue the estate with a calm, human scale. The house and 55 acres are at one with the natural beauty of Boulder’s landscape. You and your guests will feel this sense of tranquility and ease from the moment you enter the private front courtyard.

The stucco exterior is tinted to match that of the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), whose hue I.M. Pei selected as an homage to the sandstone of the Flatirons. Gorgeous slate roof tiles from Vermont make for a home which is as resilient as it is aesthetically compelling.

Immerse yourself in the beauty of Colorado's four seasons from the comfort of your private haven.
Witness the first Springtime blooms of crocus and iris. Enjoy a cool summer breeze beneath verdant shade tree canopies in the private courtyard. Ease into Halloween as cottonwood trees morph to gold and native prairie grasses adopt multihued tones. Relax by the fireplace while soaking in winter's vibrant sunsets or the first rays of morning light striking a snowy Continental Divide.

With its flowing architecture designed to maximize breathtaking vistas of the Rocky Mountains, this home creates a harmonious connection between indoor and outdoor living.
